Five – Week program starting February 23rd
In this 5-week Public Speaking and Leadership course students will gain confidence in their public speaking skills by learning speech-making skills and nerve-calming strategies and then putting them to practice each week by preparing and presenting a speech to their peers. Each week students will constructively critique each other to help each other improve! This class has a small size in order to facilitate a more comfortable and productive learning environment for everyone. Students will walk away from this crash course with an increased confidence in public speaking and conversations in general. I hope you’ll join us!

Location Platform : Zoom (video camera sharing mandatory while participants are speaking) – hybrid sessions in the planning for future workshops
For Youth aged 15-18 years:
Date and Duration: Wednesdays from 6-7.30 pm Eastern Time (Canada) for 5 weeks from February 23 to March 23.

Glynis has appeared on Rogers TV, Radio Mango and featured in several press releases as a passionate champion for developing good leaders and communicators in the community.
She is frequently invited as a Guest Speaker at Open Houses and Toastmasters contests for her engaging, motivating style. She has presented several educational workshops on leadership. She spoke at the Speaker Slam event in Toronto in February 2018 presenting to almost 200 people on the theme of “Live your Legacy.”
Glynis is a mentor and a coach to many; her strength lies in empowering followers to become leaders. She conducts Mastermind Courses, Lunch and Learns and Keynote Speeches on Leadership through a variety of formats ranging from virtual classrooms to on-site presentations.
With the high incidence of mental health issues and depression abounding, Glynis is passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and has conducted several youth leadership programs, and assists junior Gavel Clubs. She currently runs YouthMax, a series of youth leadership camps for youth in the community. Her passion for empowering youth led her to run for Public School Board Trustee in the municipal elections in Ontario in October 2018.
