Halfway There: Make the Rest of 2025 Count!

Hello friends,

Can you believe we’re already one week into the second half of the year?

Picture this: It’s December 31, 2025. You’re reflecting on the past six months. Will you be proud of how you used your time—or wish you’d made different choices?

Time is precious. Each day is a gift. And while summer brings longer days and later bedtimes, it also comes with more distractions. Staying focused takes real discipline.

So, what do you want to grow in during this second half of the year?

Do you have a word of the year guiding you? For me, that word is Humility. As someone with an ID personality (curious what that means? Let’s chat!), I naturally lean toward confidence—and sometimes overconfidence. This week, I was reminded of that in a humbling way.

While giving a speech at a Toastmasters club, my slides failed to load correctly. Imagine being the guest speaker, all eyes on you, and you’re fumbling with tech for a full minute! It felt like an eternity. But that moment taught me something valuable:

Failure may sting, but it’s often our greatest teacher. We try, fail, adjust—and try again.

So, what will you attempt in this second half of the year that will stretch you, challenge you, and help you grow?

Come December 31st, wouldn’t it be amazing to look back and say, “I’m getting better at this”?

Take the first step today. Your future self will thank you.
