Savoring Summer & Growing into Fall

Hi Friend,

What’s your favorite part of summer? 🌞
Maybe it’s a lazy day in the sun with a cool drink in hand. Or those breathtaking sunsets during an evening stroll. Perhaps it’s packing up for a cottage getaway—long drives, boat rides, and sandy toes at the beach.

However you choose to soak in these gorgeous days, summer has a way of making us want to pause life and just enjoy the moment. I just got back from a cottage getaway with friends, and let me tell you—it was the most relaxing time ever!

But here we are, at the tail end of summer. We’re enjoying the last few sips of that delicious seasonal cocktail, trying to savor it, not wanting it to end. And then—bam!—the bold “Back to School” commercials crash in like an unwelcome guest.

For some, it’s thicker morning traffic or the commute back to the office. For students, though, it can be especially overwhelming. New classes, new teachers, new friends… and the pressure to fit in. Studies show students are experiencing higher levels of anxiety than ever before when it comes to these transitions.

That’s why I’m so excited to share something new:

Engaging Etiquette for Students (Ages 10–16)
This in-person course is designed to help students grow in confidence and connection. Over 4 sessions (90 minutes each), we’ll explore practical and fun skills like:

  • Making eye contact & handshakes

  • Breaking the ice and holding conversations

  • Polishing impromptu speaking skills

  • Table manners & digital etiquette

  • Respecting others (including elders)

📅 Thursdays at 6 PM EST | Sept 18 – Oct 9
(In person if we reach 15 participants)

And for the adults who are ready to invest in their own growth, we’re also launching:

🌟 Developing the Leader Within You 2.0 Mastermind
A 4-week journey through 10 transformational lessons—from Influence and Attitude to Problem Solving and Personal Growth. This one will be held on Zoom, but we may switch to in-person if we reach 15 participants.

Both programs are open for registration now—and I’d love for you (or someone you know) to join us.

In the meantime, enjoy these last golden days of summer—and as the seasons change, let’s commit to growing right along with them. 🍂

With warmth,
Glynis
